Sure the movie was long, but wow on the animation for Davy Jones and his tentacle beard.

Bill Nighy was great as Davy Jones. And the animation totally rocked. But I was torqued that it was only an "in between" movie; merely setting up the next one. Dang it.
Monster House was a ton of fun.

We saw it Saturday night as well. When the lights [finally] came up, Kevin asked if we had the baby yet. My comment was "longer than Ghandi."
But yes. Very cool special effects.
