Some things look better up close.

Case in point, this blooming plant above, so striking I had to pull over on the commute home.

Take a step back and you'll see less flowery surroundings. It could be argued that the contrast of organic and fabricated has some beauty.

In other news that is not plants I cannot identify: It was rainy most of the weekend. We started the house search again, even though the ink isn't quite dry on the previous property that did not satisfy our requirements after inspection.

It looks so much easier on HGTV.
